26. I love El Caminos. I cannot explain it. There is just something so practical about a truck + a car. I often fantasize of buying one as a project car when I get old. {{Please keep in mind I don’t even know how to change a tire.}}
27. Rap music is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. I’m too old for it, the lyrics can go from absurd to downright obscene but I just can’t get enough.
28. I’m a firm believer in the mail. Don’t get me wrong, I love e-mail but nothing beats a hand written note in your mailbox.
29. I send myself e-mails. Throughout my day when I think of something I need to do or want to research later I send myself an e-mail. On average I send myself 10 e-mails a day.
30. I’d rather have Pumpkin pie than birthday cake. Melanie’s mom used to make me one every year for my birthday!
31. Summer is my favorite season! I lover HOT weather. Like high 90s to 100s. One of my all-time favorite feelings is getting in the car in the summer and feeling your skin sizzle.
32. My very first car was a 12 year old Mazda 929. The hood had to be propped open with a broom handle, one of the doors didn’t open, the windows would roll down – but not back up, and it burned a quart of oil every week. But it was my ticket to freedom and I loved it.
33. I buy a lot of cards. I’ve got drawers full of cards and stationary. I routinely walk the card aisle and will buy cards I think are funny or touching or pretty even though I may not have anyone in mind to send them to at the time.
34. I love to travel but I hate leaving my dogs. For this reason we rarely go out of town for more than a few days at a time.
35. I think my life would be perfect if only they would open an H&M and an Ikea in Nashville.
36. I’m completely jealous of my little brother who is getting ready to go to college next month. I miss college. That was for sure one of the best times of my life!
37. I think I’ve decided to go Mac. John bought a powerbook a few weeks ago and the graphics are just amazing. I don’t plan on upgrading until my trusty vaio bites the dust but when it does I’m mentally preparing myself for the switch.
38. I don’t always adapt to change very well, hence my need for the mental preparation to switch to a Mac.
39. Despite that whole “not good with change” bit, one of my favorite things to do is to take pictures in new places. It’s totally like a treasure hunt and gives me a great rush.
40. I’m now up to 184 feeds on my bloglines. Told you I was an addict. LOL. If you have any suggestions on more I should add please leave them in the comments section.
41. I am domestically challenged. John does all of the cooking, cleaning, gardening, ect around the house. We do have a continual power struggle over the laundry though. I prefer to do my own laundry and I can’t get him to stop doing mine. I know, I know, but it really is a problem!! The man thinks it’s ok to wash towels and sweaters together!
42. I have this thing about people calling me “sweetie” or “honey” etc. I guess it’s the feminist in me, but I find it derogatory. Living in the south, I find myself biting my tongue on this issue a lot.
43. I love to sing karaoke. I won a contest once for my rousing rendition of “Baby Got Back.” Complete with backup dancers of course!
44. I don’t get to watch soap operas anymore, but I used to watch Days of Our lives religiously. The possession of Marlena was by far the best soap opera plot ever.
45. I’m always paranoid that with 4 dogs our house is going to smell like dog. For this reason we’ve probably spent thousands on candles, plug-ins, reed diffusers, and room spray.
46. My favorite room spray/candle scent of all time is the Eucalyptus Mint Method that is discontinued
I love it b/c it smells like college to me – Mills College is home to hundreds of wonderful smelling Eucalyptus trees.
47. I hate having a blog post without a picture, but I’m too tired to dig one up tonight.
48. I’m really excited about finally getting to read this book. I purchased it months ago but I’m finally going to have time to sit down and really dive into it next week.
49. I’m a big list maker. I think this goes hand-in-hand with my “e-mailing myself habit.”
50. I have a weakness for eyeliner. I am almost never without it. I think if I were stranded on a deserted isle and could only have two things from home with me they would be my camera and eyeliner.
WHEW!!! You all should really try this!! It’s hard work! I am struggling with just 25 at a time, 101 things is no joke.

Okay, not sure I’m ready to try this myself, but I’m loving *your* list! And yes, I’m a list-lover, too – addicted to Excel. My computer is full of lists. (I’m not up to 10 a day, but it’s not uncommon for me to e-mail myself from work when I think of something I want to remember at home.)
Do you have a “second favorite” scent that isn’t discontinued? (Four cats, lots of candles and sprays – same paranoia, LOL.)
Wishing you lots of pumpkin pie for your birthday!
Lovin’ your blog!
