Tonight’s “Money Saving Monday” is really a spin-off from my post on Friday about Ashley’s Bride Guide. It really got me thinking about the power of information and how that power can be so instrumental in saving money on your wedding. An idea you may get from the most high-end place can often be tweaked to fit into your budget with just a little thought. With gas prices being sky high and now the stock market in the tank, it certainly pays to get your information on the internet all from the comfort of your own home. In the spirit of that line of thinking, I’m posting a list of sites you will certainly want to check out. Best of all, they are all chocked full of free information and inspiration, yours for for taking!
Ashley’s Bride Guide - a local resource with everything for middle TN brides
A Delightful Day- Mary Alice and her crew of event specialists have been posting some great inspo on their blog!
The Knot’s TN Board - often has leftover wedding items for sale
Wedding Channel.com- national site with plenty of inspo
Brides.com - another national site with lots of eye candy
Southern Weddings Magazine - a great site with a southern focus and frequent {fabulous} giveaways
Indie Bride – a site that totally speaks to my feminist side
Wedding Bee – a wealth of info including DIY items
That’s all the linkage I’ve got time for tonight – but remember knowledge is power and with it you can find ways to have the wedding of your dreams within your budget. If you have any additional favorites, be sure to share them with the rest of us in the comments section.
