It’s ok to eat fish because they don’t have any feelings…

Or how I’ve gone semi-vegan, LOL!  Technically I’ve become a nondairy pescetarian, or in English I no longer eat meat or dairy but I still consume fish (thanks to the International Vegetarian Union for providing me with a label).  I’ve decided to try and follow the blood type diet and since I am type A those are the dietary restrictions.  I’m not gonna lie, I have a feeling this is going to be a really hard diet to stick to.  I am used to drinking 2 gallons of milk per week, ice cream is one of my favorite things on earth, and bacon makes my mouth water.  But I have to say, I’ve been following the diet for 3 days and I am feeling great!  It’s likely all in my head, but I’ll take it :)   I’ll try and keep you all up to date on how I am doing.  Above all I’m just going to try my best to stay on track on not beat myself up about it if I have the occasional slip up.  My friend Kitty (hi kitty!) is a real vegan and she is great about reminding me that every little bit helps.

And since I started this post with a line from a Kurt Cobain song, I think it’s only appropriate that I end it with a few pics from when I visited the house Kurt died in while visiting Tiffany in Seattle last month.  RIP Kurt.

This bench sits on a small plot of land next door to the house and has become a memorial place for fans.

Tiffany, Melanie, and Me with the house in the background.  This is my “concentrating on self portrait” face.

And this was our dessert later that same night.  Chocolate. Covered. Bacon.  Looks like turds, tastes like heaven.  Oh bacon, how I will miss thee.

Ohhhhhhhhhh the bacon. My mouth is watering just looking at it! You know, I didn’t even notice all the bracelets and such tied on to the bench. I wonder how often they have to replace it?

Can’t wait to see the rest of the pics!

Good luck with that eating plan, Amber! I followed “Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type” about 10 years ago and it was rather tough to stick with. Although, it introduced me to feta cheese, which I still very much enjoy to this day :)
