Three years ago yesterday John and I tied the knot. I’ve said it before and I know I’ll say it again, but it feels just like yesterday that we walked back down that aisle together as man and wife. I am so incredibly blessed to have him in my life, and while we have had our rough spots here and there I can confidently say that I love him more today than yesterday. Here are a few photos from our Anniversary trip to Jupiter Beach, Florida. As per usual on our vacations, I spent lots of time relaxing and only a little time behind the camera, but I did snap a few so I would have some to share with all of you!
The beautiful view from our balcony
Down on the resort’s private beach – the water was so nice and warm!
Looking back up at the resort
There were flowers growing right up until the sand started
The ever-popular self portrait
John’s footprints in the sand
Unfortunately around 1pm it started to rain and held up pretty steady until after dinner
No big loss – it was a good excuse for an afternoon nap!! After we woke up and got ready for dinner we took our yearly anniversary photo. We usually do that on the beach but our balcony had to make due since it was still raining.
It’s so hard to get john to smile in a picture!!
Three years later, I’m still loving my e-ring+wedding band combo
All the rain made for a pretty sunset
The next morning we got up early and spent some time in the hammock
It was such a beautiful morning!
It’s sea turtle nesting season and they had been making their way onto the beach during the night – see the tracks?
After we got in some more quality beach time, it was time to check out of the hotel so we did some site seeing before heading to the airport. First stop – Jupiter Beach Lighthouse…
It was a long haul up a bunch of stairs to get to the top, but the view was worth it!
I had never seen the inside of a lighthouse before – it was pretty cool!
Next stop was the Loggerhead Marinelife Center – aka the Turtle Hospital. It’s where sick and injured turtles are taken to recuperate.
Our flight home experienced some delays thanks to Florida summer storms, but as a consolation prize, we saw a huge rainbow on our ascent
And just because I haven’t already posted too many photos, LOL, after dinner last night, John bought me 3 roses for our 3 years of marriage. Happy anniversary honey!! I love you!!

Honey the pictures are lovely. Florida looked great to me as that is where we use to vacation mostly when I had someone to vacation with. I am so happy you two had a great time. The rainbow was gorgeous. It was very sweet of John to give you the roses. So glad you both had a Happy Anniversary and got to spend time together. Your birthday is day after tomorrow. Happy Birthday Angel.
