All I can think about at this moment is poor Einstein – our wise old Golden Retriever. He had to have surgery yesterday for an ear hematoma that he developed on Saturday. The surgery went well and he is home now resting in his crate. Unfortunately he is none too happy with “resting in his crate” and is letting me know it with lots and lots of whining. Here’s a horrible cell phone pic I snapped of him tonight. I feel pretty guilty about getting out the good camera to take his pic since he’s obviously humiliated by the cone so it’s highly likely that this is as good as it’s going to get picture wise.
In other news, I’m still recovering from birthday madness. I used my birthday week as an excuse to over indulge in ice cream and cake and am just now starting to come out of my sugar-induced misery. I’m also trying to get ready for my London trip. I’m super excited but it has really snuck up on me!! I’ve got a pretty long list of things to get done before I leave, but I know it will all be worth it once it’s done and Mom and I are strolling the streets of Jolly Old England. One of the things I’m working on now and will likely still be working on during the 8 hr flight across the pond is editing this past weekend’s sessions. I’ll leave you with sneak peeks from Taylor’s “Day After” session and Kayla and Brock’s Engagement session (I had some fun on the processing with that one – would love to hear your thoughts on it!).
More to come from both of these session soon!!

Poor Einstein indeed
He looks to pitiful. I’m glad he has owners like you and John who care enough to fix his problem
I can’t wait to see more of these two sessions!

Awwww. Bless him.
Looks like those engagement pictures are going to be really fun! We already know Taylor and Brett’s will be gorgeous.

Ah, poor little Einstein. It’s so hard when the fur-babies don’t feel well. You can’t tell them that it’s just temporary, and that they’ll feel better soon. Sending Pixie Dust for the little one, and for Mommy, too!

WAIT! I was so distracted by Einstein’s pitiful face that I overlooked that HUGE yellow chair. Damn! That’s a big a$$ chair.
AND good use of an 8-hr flight, E*N*J*O*Y!
I’ll call you the week after you get back to deliver your cards.
