Over the long Thanksgiving weekend I had the absolute pleasure of traveling to Southern California to do family photos for my friend Sara and to photograph her son Carter’s second birthday party. Next week I will post pics of the incredible party, but tonight I want to share some of the pics I captured in their little family mini session we did the morning of the party. This shoot almost didn’t happen as it was pouring down rain that morning – it’s not supposed to rain in sunny So Cal!! Thankfully it cleared up and we were able to take about 30 mins to walk about the neighborhood and snap a few pics.
Sara – thank you again for your hospitality! I miss you already and can’t wait ’til we can hang out again
Hope you love the pics!
One of the first pics we took – a favorite.

We took a few in front of their new house – it was so pretty!

There were some really cute parks in the neighborhood.

This is one that might normally get cut as an out-take, but I just love how happy Sara looks!

And one last one. Love the Father/Son matching Converse and those seriously hot mama shoes Sara is rocking

Picture #2 & #3…she could be your sister with the hair + the pose with the pug!
Don’t you know I’m jealous that you were in So. CA. It’s not Texas rain (‘cuz everything’s bigger in TX) , but yes, it does rain there!
