Nashville Ladies Bridal Shoot Part 1

May 21st, 2010 · 8 Comments

Waaaay back on April 10th I had the good fortune of participating in a group photo shoot organized by my good friend Emily of Emily T Photography.  Also along for the ride were two other fun and fabulous local photogs Diana Tredway and Nancy Center, make-up artist Sarah King, and there in the form of a super awesome bridal bouquet she whipped up for us was Emily Kennedy of Kennedy Occasions.  I also need to give a big thanks to our bride Erin for staying cool and confident in the face of a virtual wedding photographer paparazzi storm ;)

We shot in a variety of different locations, the first was a large industrial room.  On a side note, I did a lot of this editing at the hospital.  Apparently my mood comes through in my editing because I think there are more black and whites here than I’ve ever posted before from one session!

After we finished shooting there Emily, Diana, and Nancy did some shooting in a stairwell while they were kind enough to let me set up a shot that I had been envisioning for quite some time – an Imelda Marcos inspired Bridal.   The set up took a little but longer than I had anticipated and I ended up having about 10 minutes to shoot these, but I am really pleased with what we came away with.  It is so much fun to see a concept come to life!  I can’t wait to do it again :)

And once we’d finished these we headed outside with our second bride Tristin.  Stay tuned for those pics still to come :)

Yes, love the shoe boxes! So the question remains: Were all those shoe boxes from you? In other words, is that an accurate representation of your shoe collection ;-)
